Recent projects I’ve worked on

I have had the opportunity to work on a number of exciting projects recently, they are however mostly not made available to the public yet.

If you are interested in learning more about my work, please get in touch!

  • Enabling flexible work postures and supportive transitions

What if computing experiences are weaved into spaces around us to offer conducive environments that support people in their daily activities, and help them be fully present? And that they will do so by understanding our context, predicting our needs and adapting themselves accordingly?

  • Creating healthier outcomes for users, via the devices they use the most, their PCs

People are experiencing more stress, overwork, and overall lack of wellbeing at work. Signals is a Windows app that helps users understand how they use their PC and it gives easy, subtle suggestions to help them build healthier habits around 5 areas of wellbeing — eyes, hearing, posture, movement, mental state.

When I get to, I take on community projects on the side

These projects are usually on a pro-bono basis, and I find them to be a fulfilling way to give back to the community and utilise my skills in meaningful ways.

  • Exploring a SF model for 911 calls not requiring ambulance

By providing alternative entry points for 911 callers, the San Francisco Department of Emergency Management (SFDEM) can offer more effective care for patients and use emergency resources in SF more efficiently.

This work positioned SF to be one of only a few regions globally approved for a rare, expedited launch of a new triage system during the COVID-19 pandemic.

  • Helping KARTMA better support their employees, on and off kart

An employee journey was co-created with the client with the goal of supporting KARTMA employees from job application to launching a career.

It was designed to foster a culture based on KARTMA's positive core values, such as family, celebration, and intrinsic motivation and also support KARTMA's operational success.

  • Improving the visitor registration experience of SingaPlural 2016

For the first time in 2016, ticketing and registration was required at SingaPlural, the anchor event of Singapore Design Week.

The registration area is crucial as it sets the tone for the visitor experience.

I led the collaboration with the event organizer to assist visitors in completing registration quickly and easily.
